Everything, Everything Book Review

I just finished Everything, Everything after a beautiful trip to Madeira.
I was reading it before but really really slowly. Bu this time i finally finished it!

My disease is as rare as it is famous. Basically, I’m allergic to the world. I don’t leave my house, have not left my house in seventeen years. The only people I ever see are my mom and my nurse, Carla.

But then one day, a moving truck arrives next door. I look out my window, and I see him. He’s tall, lean and wearing all black—black T-shirt, black jeans, black sneakers, and a black knit cap that covers his hair completely. He catches me looking and stares at me. I stare right back. His name is Olly.

Maybe we can’t predict the future, but we can predict some things. For example, I am certainly going to fall in love with Olly. It’s almost certainly going to be a disaster.

I pickup this book after seeing all the great reviews and to be honest after reading “I’ll Give you the Sun” and loving it.

This is about a girl whose life is different, she is sick and can’t go to the outside. But one day she sees her new neighbors and feels different about Olly. Now i will stay quiet 🙂 this is enough to get you going.

If you like light funny YA books, this is for you and if you like stories where we see what life should be about you should definitely read this. A more detailed review next!

I gave it 4.5 out of 5.

Now spoiler review!

I’m going to be honest, that twist had me. I didn’t expected that, i just stood still while reading it. So well written really! I know exactly how Maddie was feeling and how she would react to everything.

The ending is complete and gives us what we actually want, i’m glad the love part of the lot isn’t the focus, but how a teenager that never fallen in love feels it would change her life and how she knows that maybe just maybe life isn’t worth living. It sounds dramatic but this is what goes through people minds when depressed.

I’m glad i read this book 🙂

Stay awesome,
