Ms. Marvel, Vol. 1: No Normal Review

This past week i went to London and spent an amazing week. My reading was almost zero, but i went to Forbidden Planet and got a few things. One of them Ms. Marvel. I read it in the same day.

Marvel Comics presents the new Ms. Marvel, the groundbreaking heroine that has become an international sensation!

Kamala Khan is an ordinary girl from Jersey City — until she’s suddenly empowered with extraordinary gifts. But who truly is the new Ms. Marvel? Teenager? Muslim? Inhuman? Find out as she takes the Marvel Universe by storm! When Kamala discovers the dangers of her newfound powers, she unlocks a secret behind them, as well. Is Kamala ready to wield these immense new gifts? Or will the weight of the legacy before her be too much to bear? Kamala has no idea, either. But she’s comin’ for you, New York!

This was my second comic book (if we count Saga has one). I always felt over whelmed with comic books because i never knew where to start. After watching everyone else hauling this and reviewing it i had to buy it.
I love it, all the elements from the powers to the religion is well done.

Kamala is a muslim  “geeky” teenage girl. Could we ask for more? She goes through so much and every time she fails you feel compelled and feel what she feels. Very very well written. Give it a chance if you could.

5 out of 5!

Stay awesome,
