Saga, Volume 1 Graphic Novel Review

I finally read my first graphic novel. I was a little hesitant because i never read a graphic novel or a comic book (i’m not counting Captain Underpants)I started with a series everyone is talking about, Saga.

When two soldiers from opposite sides of a never-ending galactic war fall in love, they risk everything to bring a fragile new life into a dangerous old universe.

From New York Times bestselling writer Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina) and critically acclaimed artist Fiona Staples (Mystery Society, North 40), Saga is the sweeping tale of one young family fighting to find their place in the worlds. Fantasy and science fiction are wed like never before in this sexy, subversive drama for adults.

Saga is set in another planet (might i say galaxy!). A couple chooses peace instead of war and stops fighting in the war, fighting instead for peace. This novel is graphic (18+) it has sex and some of the themes are adult (rape, selling girls to be sex slaves, etc), so be careful if you don’t like this type of novels.
I enjoyed this so much! The sci-fi elements and the plot everything about this novel was perfection. I can’t wait to read the next ones!
Because i went on this not knowing a thing i think it’s the best way i will stop review here.

Give it a try if you like sci-fi and graphic novels, if you never read a graphic novel and want to join the hype read it too! 5 out of 5 stars!

Stay Awesome,
